Peter Hinssen - Keynote Speaker

Peter Hinssen is a serial entrepreneur and for more than fifteen years has focussed on technology start-ups. His first companies were acquired by telecommunications giants - e-COM was acquired by Alcatel-Lucent and Streamcase, by Belgacom. These successes were closely followed by the acquisition of Across Technology by Delaware Consulting. His next venture, Porthus, also met with considerable success having been quoted on the stock exchange in 2006 and finally acquired by Descartes. 

Between start-ups, he has been an Entrepreneur in Residence with McKinsey & Company, with a heavy focus on digital and technology strategy. Peter’s current company Nexxworks assists organisations in their journey to become fluid, innovate and thrive in an ever-changing world.

To date, Peter has authored five bestselling business books including The Phoenix and The Unicorn, in which he focuses on a company's ability to rethink itself in cycles and emerge from adversity stronger than ever. 

Peter is frequently asked to contribute to international publications, is a LinkedIn Influencer and a Forbes contributor. 

As a sought-after keynote speaker, he has given numerous speeches around the world for renowned clients such as Google, Nimbus Ninety, Tedx, Paypal and Apple. In addition, he lectures at acclaimed business schools like the London Business School, the MIT Sloan School of Management and the Paul Merage School of Business at UC Irvine. In addition, he is also a multiple board advisor on topics related to innovation and technology.
