Die Contortionistin Desireé wurde in Norwegen geboren und wuchs dort auf. Sie nahm an Wettkämpfen in Gymnastik und rhythmischer Gymnastik teil, bevor sie nach London zog, um Tanz an der London Contemporary Dance School und am Laban Centre for Movement and Dance zu studieren. Seitdem hat sie eine erfolgreiche Karriere als Zirkusartistin und zeitgenössische Tänzerin, die in ganz Europa, Asien und den Vereinigten Staaten tourt und unter anderem mit Yolande Snaith Theatre Dance, S.O.A.P. Dance Theatre Frankfurt, The Flying Dudes, The Wrong Size, Bolli Darling und Cirque du Soleil zusammenarbeitet.
Die Show von Desireé TWIST ist eine elegante und fesselnde Verrenkungsnummer aus der Zeit der wilden Zwanziger.
In Anlehnung an Desireés Hintergrund als zeitgenössische Tänzerin und Yogini bringt sie etwas Theatralik in die traditionelle Vorstellung von Verrenkungen. Das Ergebnis ist "TWIST"! - Eine elegant kostümierte Feder-Fantasie, - eine seltene Ausstellung menschlicher Flexibilität.
