Il 2012 ha visto l'inizio di qualcosa di dolce per la vita notturna di Pechino. È stato durante quest'anno che un gruppo di quattro talentuosi musicisti ha deciso che dovevano condividere la loro musica con la città - e così è nato Soul Band Beijing. Oggi, la band è cresciuta fino a diventare un solido gruppo di 9 elementi che suona solo il miglior soul e RnB, dai classici ai contemporanei.
Suonando per tutti i tipi di eventi, il gruppo ha guadagnato un solido seguito tra gli amanti della musica dal vivo della vivace città. Suonando un repertorio diversificato da "Stand By Me" di Ben King a "Suit and Tie" di Justine Timberlake, il gruppo si basa sulle voci eleganti del loro cantante altamente creativo e sulle ritmiche serrate degli ottoni e della sezione ritmica.
