Il Quartetto d'archi di Bologna, formato nel 2005 da laureati dei conservatori musicali, unisce grandi e diverse esperienze musicali per creare un suono straordinario.
Il Quartetto d'archi di Bologna è nato dal desiderio di combinare il repertorio classico tradizionale e una scelta insolita di brani per quartetto d'archi, al fine di offrire all'ascoltatore un suono completamente diverso.
Insieme hanno partecipato a numerosi corsi di formazione per sviluppare ulteriormente il loro suono e collaborare con vari gruppi da camera e orchestre sinfoniche, in Italia e all'estero.
Il repertorio del quartetto spazia dai noti standard jazz di Pegaso a estratti musicali dei brani più popolari, fino ai temi di indimenticabili colonne sonore, utilizzando arrangiamenti appositamente creati per loro.
Il quartetto si è esibito in teatri e gala in una varietà di eventi in Italia e in Europa.
