1. What should the guests expect from the virtual workshop?

Our host offers a live virtual session to teach the basics of modern calligraphy for corporate clients. She can provide a 1-hour session which will include all the information you need to get started in calligraphy. She will talk about the tools, the techniques for writing in calligraphy and include some tips and tricks. The session will finish with a demonstration of how letters are to be written. 

The expert calligrapher can also provide a 2 hour session to include all the information in the 1 hour session, but also time to allow guests to write during the class and be able to ask questions as they continue to practice. This part is invaluable to learning in calligraphy - which is learning by practice. We highly recommend choosing the 2 hour session so that the guests can practice calligraphy during the class and get to experience the beauty of the art.

2. What number of participants is recommended for the best experience?

A smaller group of around 10-20 is ideal for the masterclass, that way the expert can really focus on the guests and their questions. 

3. What will the guests need for the experience?

Guests will receive kit boxes with all the tools required for the virtual session. The boxes will include a pen, nib, ink and paper sheets.

4. What is the virtual session set up?

For the virtual session our host will teach from her studio with two HD cameras, one to video the front of her, and one to show the table so the guests can watch her write during the masterclass.
