What will my group get out of a food or drink tour and tasting?

Our food and drink tours are perfect if you want your group to have a unique experience of a city or treat them to new cuisines! Perfect for any food fanatics, a tasting tour is a great way to explore a city whilst enjoying the authentic and traditional food. A group food and drink tour is a great option if you have limited time in a city, as it will ensure you get to see the streets and try the local, traditional cuisine. 

Can we combine a tour or corporate tasting with a workshop?

Some of our tours or group tastings can be followed by a workshop, either hosted with the tour, or the Scarlett Entertainment & Events team can find the perfect food or drink workshop for your group.  

How long will the tours and group tastings last? 

Most tours and tastings last for around an hour at least, depending on how many stops and sights there are to see, they can last for two to five hours, and some are a full day. If you have a tight schedule to stick to, just let our events team know and they can suggest the most suitable guided food and drinks tours for your group. 

How many people can take part in a group food tour?

This is very dependent on which tour you choose, a lot of our corporate food tasting experiences are most suitable for smaller groups of around 10, although some food tours are suitable for groups of up to 30. However, most can host multiple tours at one time so larger groups of up to 100 people can take part in one of our private guided food tours. 

Can you cater for different allergies?

If any of the members of your group have any allergies or dietary requirements just let our event team know when enquiring about a food tour and they can ensure all tours are suitable and safe for participants. 

Is there the chance to buy or even make our own food/drinks from the corporate tastings or tours? 

Yes! This is also dependent on which tour you book, but if you would like the option to buy traditional food or participate in a food workshop just let our events team know and they can make it happen!

Will the food tours be private for just me and my colleagues?

Yes, although tours may normally be available to the public, they can also be booked privately for only your group. 

Do I need to bring or provide anything?

The majority of our guided food tours or expertly lead corporate tasting are fully inclusive of all food and equipment if you have booked a workshop. You will be required to dress appropriately for a walking tour, or cycling if you have booked one of our Bike Food Tours. If you do need to provide anything specific our one of our event coordinators will let you know when discussing options. 

What if the weather is bad for the tour?

Most of the time tours go ahead no matter what the weather! Just make sure you have dressed appropriately for the weather conditions; if the tour or group tasting cannot go ahead you will be notified beforehand, and where possible the food tour will be rescheduled.  

Are the group food tours available in other languages apart from English?

Yes, again this is dependent on which drink tasting or food tour experience you opt for, every food tour is available in English, and some are also available in German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Swedish, and Czech to name a few. Browse each tour individually for more information on language availability; if a tour guide is unavailable for your event our events team can arrange a translator, just let us know when enquiring.
