Dragon Dance Hong Kong
Founded in 2005, this is the most popular Dragon performance group in Hong Kong. They are dedicated to promoting traditional Chinese culture within their community; giving charity performances and visiting schools to teach children about the Dragon Dance.
The dragon dance is often performed during Chinese New Year. Chinese dragons are a symbol of China, and they are believed to bring good luck to people, therefore the longer the dragon in the dance, the more luck it will bring to the community.
Colourful traditional costumes and choreography, and infectious live music create a contagious energy that will add the WOW factor to any event. As well as performing a traditional Dragon Dance, this group also offer a show with a modern twist, combining Hip Pop and LED lighting, creating a truly unique act.
Performed by a team of 20 to 30 dancers and accompanied by live music, this act is truly unforgettable.
