Female Vocalist Ruby

Ruby is a fantastic soul singer in the Shirley Bassey mould, who provides a wonderful day's entertainment whenever she performs.  Arguably one of the UK’s finest female singers she has performed in venues all over the world, effortlessly delivering an eclectic range of styles, from the big ballads of Bassey and Houston, to effervescent dance-pop.

Like many of the original soul singers, Ruby was trained in Gospel, and began singing secular music in Amateur productions at school, which led to the opportunity of joining her first band ‘Oakie’. Once established on the professional circuit, Ruby went on to perform with top artists including Bob Monkhouse, Des O’Connor, Ben E King and her own all-girl group The Divas.
