Ruby is an exceptional soul singer in the Shirley Bassey style, providing an amazing day's entertainment whenever she performs. Arguably one of the UK’s finest female singers, she has performed in venues all over the world, effortlessly delivering a diverse range of styles, from the big ballads of Bassey and Houston to dynamic dance-pop.
Like many of the original soul singers, Ruby was trained in Gospel and began singing secular music in amateur productions at school, eventually joining her first band ‘Oakie’. Once established on the professional circuit, Ruby went on to perform with top artists including Bob Monkhouse, Des O’Connor, Ben E. King, and her own all-girl group The Divas.
