At the age of 23, Joe Navarro was personally recruited to join the FBI, making him one of the youngest agents ever to enter the prestigious investigative agency. Throughout his remarkable 25-year career, Joe served both as an agent and supervisor in counterintelligence and counterterrorism, developing unparalleled expertise in reading human behavior and nonverbal communication. His work as a spy-catcher, combined with his ability to understand and interpret nonverbal cues, earned him the respect of the intelligence community. As a result, Joe was called upon to train FBI agents and intelligence professionals on how to apply these critical skills in high-stakes situations.

After retiring from the FBI in 2003, Joe shifted his focus to meeting the growing demand for his unique insights into human behavior.
