During her many years working with companies that range from substantial global tech companies to small, innovative start-ups, Patty has seen firsthand how companies can become slow and complacent, and employees become disillusioned. 

During her 14 years at Netflix, she experimented with new ways to work, abolishing performance reviews and challenging the need for policies. Patty believes people come to work as fully formed adults with a desire to make an impact. Her mission is to spread the word on how to achieve this by practising honesty, and motivating with more challenging work and not via perks and bonuses.
