Speed Painter Dave

Speed painting is a performance based live art entertainment option. Our speed painter Dave brings to life a huge variety of artwork ranging from portraits and products to logos and movie characters in minutes! All performed on oversize black canvas with soundtracks synched to a dynamic and theatrical painting style.

Dave uses two brushes to bring the live event art to life with flowing strokes and often teases the audience to guess who or what is the final subject. Our professional speed painter is passionate about his art and the performance is dynamic and entertaining – not to be missed. 

Dave has performed shows on stage and previously received four yes’s from the judges. He has also performed at conference venues, on television and at festivals in the UK and internationally as well as a regular entertainer on the Disney cruise ships.

The content of the performance is very flexible offering a wide range of stock characters to choose from such as John Lennon, Albert Einstein, Ironman or any person or subject of your choice provided our speed artist has time to practice in advance.

Typical speed painting images take minutes to complete and can be adjusted to suit the client’s needs either as single images or a series during a show or conference environment. He can even perform glitter speed painting to add an extra WOW factor to his performance. 

For live speed painting performances the minimum space can be 10’ x 13 where Dave supplies the easel and canvases – you supply the floor covering and P.A. system. On request, the finished images can be auctioned with 100% of donations given to a charity of the client’s choice.
