String Quartet Tuscany, along with their theatrical performances and exhilarating shows, hold an intense concertistic activity with classical repertory, studied under Franco Rossi of the Quartetto Italiano.

They perform in a context that only initially is serious and classical. Nothing, from the moderate beginning, lets you foresee the hilarious chaos that will shake audiences! Comedy and laughter follows as the quartet provide humour a plenty with their music and silly costumes, a really unique, classical music performance!

The talented quartet also collaborates with many internationally acclaimed artists like Skin (ex Skunk Anansie), Stefano Bollani, the duo Petra Magoni and Ferruccio Spinetti, the Italian singer Ron and Orchestra di Piazza Vittorio conducted by Mario Tronco of Avion Travel.

String Quartet Tuscany was born as a collaboration with the Banda Osiris, whom they perform alongside with on their successful “Roll over Beethoven” tour. This tour takes place in the most important Italian theatres and with more than 130 shows; “Roll over Beethoven” has over 30,000 spectators.

The quartet, who began playing together in 1999, are often a guest of Radio 2 -and Radio 3 RAI, playing for the radio programs Controradio and Radio Popolare.

Their numerous classical performances at international and national festivals have been praised both by the general public and critics alike.
