Once upon a time in a land far, far away, friends and family gather to celebrate the birth of a beautiful Princess, where gifts of beauty, wit and grace are bestowed upon her. But not everyone's in the mood for celebrating! Cursed by the wicked fairy Poison Ivy, on her 18th birthday the princess will prick her finger on a spinning wheel and die!

In true pantomime style, the good Fairy offers some hope. She changes the spell to ensure that the Princess won't die, but becomes destined to spend her life as the Sleeping Beauty...until awakened by true love's kiss.
