A multi talented performer and female Erhu player who is revolutionising the global music sphere has won many awards for her stunning music and ground breaking movements as an entrepreneur. Having been hailed as ‘The Chinese Huqin Girl Stepping into Hollywood’ by Sinovision she is a Banhu and Erhu expert whose talents know no limits. A female erhu player who has performed for notable venues and institutions such as the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, the Barclays Center, United Nations, New York Fashion Week, Consulate General of People’s Republic of China New York and many more.
Our Chinese musician has also served as a judge for the China Central Television’s China Youth Talent Show Contests, the Fifth Annual American Youth Talent as well as judging art contests such as China’s National Youth Music Competition.
Having started her musical training with the Huqin (the Chinese two stringed fiddle) she was the only student studying the Banhu to be accepted into the Shenyang Conservatory of Music. After many combined achievements and awards, our Chinese musician was awarded the honor of Outstanding Graduate Student of all of Laioning province’s colleges and in 2007 became the very first Masters recipient for Banhu in the Conservatory’s history.
In addition to her success in the Conservatory our female Erhu player went on to claim first prize in the AWZG Chinese Young Artists Talent Selection as well as making it to the finals of The Voice of China TV singing competition. With a talent for music, dance and singing this remarkable performer can guarantee a top class showcase as she fuses her music with her stunning voice that can translate into pop, classical and contemporary genres.
