African Acrobats
From the vibrant street theatres of Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania in Eastern Africa, a group of talented young men trained rigorously to master their craft and emerged as the African Acrobats! This awe-inspiring, fast-paced show of African Acrobatics and Traditional Dance was featured on Britain's Got Talent in 2009 and Australia's Got Talent in 2010, reaching the semi-finals.
The art of Acrobatics is integral to their lives, and over the past 15 years, they have mesmerized audiences with more than 2000 performances across various continents, embodying the spirit of their ancestors.
The African Acrobats leave a lasting impression on audiences, with their high-energy acts akin to part Cirque du Soleil, filled with fast-paced energy. The teamwork and cooperation displayed marvels spectators and showcases the immense rewards of unity.
Every performance creates an exhilarating atmosphere and delivers a unique acrobatic experience that remains unforgettable. They possess an exceptional ability to engage the audience, incorporating activities like skipping, acrobatics, limbo, and even hand-clapping and laughter.
The African Acrobats have showcased their talents at some of the world’s most prestigious venues, gracing corporate events, trade shows, private functions, as well as circuses and theme parks.
The African Acrobats & Dance group have also fronted major commercial and advertising campaigns as stunt performers, including for renowned brands like Guinness and Cirque Roger-Lanzac.
