Pentozali: the traditional dance of Crete

A purely martial dance, pentozali has also been considered a ‘war dance.’ It represents the uprising, heroism, and hope of the Cretes. A vibrant dance characterized by high jumping movements, dancers hold each other’s shoulders and make a circle that rotates at different speeds.

Offering flexible and scalable lineup choices, our Cretan folk dancers can fully adapt to your needs. Although traditionally performed by men only, you can now book both male and female dancers for your event. On top of that, they offer stage and roaming performances.
