She has performed with renowned companies such as the Big Apple Circus (USA), Tigerpalast Varieté Theatre (Germany), Cirque d’Hiver Bouglione (France), and at NBA and WNBA halftime shows. Born into the rich tradition of the Russian circus, Alesya's extraordinary skills are no surprise. Her mother, Nadezda Bilenko, was a noted aerialist and leader of an aerial troupe, while her father, Fiodor, is a celebrated clown. Alesya left her hometown of Rostov-on-Don in southern Russia at just one month old to travel with her family. By the age of five, she was already performing tumbling, balancing, and acrobatics. At twelve, she was performing solo in a comedy act created by her father, which involved riding bicycles and unicycles. By the age of fourteen, Alesya had developed her own Hula Hoop act, which she continues to perfect and enhance, solidifying her reputation as a premier Hula Hoop artist.
