Roaming Indian Band
Since forming in 1998, this traditional Indian brass band has gone on to perform at some of the UK’s most prestigious venues, including Wembley Stadium and Ascot Racecourse. They have toured the world, performing at international jazz festivals, and entertained numerous VIP guests, such as Her Majesty the Queen of England. Dubbed Europe’s leading Indian brass band and the UK’s top Indian wedding band, you can be confident that these experienced and professional performers will bring a taste of India to your event with their traditional shows.
The band consists of musicians from a variety of different musical backgrounds, ranging from Bhangra to classical. When they perform together, they bring a fresh new sound to traditional Indian music by combining popular Indian melodies with the powerful rhythms of the Dhol drum. Their repertoire features a range of traditional Indian songs that audiences of all ages will enjoy. Aside from playing at corporate events and weddings, the band has performed in numerous street processions. Their versatility means that they are just as entertaining performing as a roving band as they are when commanding a stage.
In addition to their shows, the band also offers corporate and educational workshops. Delegates and students can come together and learn how to play traditional Indian instruments as well as gain insights into Indian cultures and traditions.
