Spontaneous Poet
For over two decades, this Spontaneous Poet has created unforgettable experiences for audiences worldwide. His unique talents have captivated notable figures such as Nelson Mandela, Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, Bjorn Borg, and many more. The Spontaneous Poet has graced events, festivals, and venues across the UK, Europe, America, Australasia, Asia, and the Middle East.
After earning a university degree in English Literature, he embarked on a journey to become a self-proclaimed “Ambassador for Poetry” around the globe, declaring: “Poetry should be for everyone, not just professors and librarians!” His show is truly one-of-a-kind. He takes audience suggestions—any words, ideas, or concepts they offer—and IMMEDIATELY delivers a rhyming, engaging, and comprehensible poem that weaves in all their inputs. The poems can be funny or serious, tailored to the audience's mood and preferences. Whatever the theme, the performance is guaranteed to leave a lasting impression and spark conversations long after it ends!
In the UK, he has performed at prestigious venues including Buckingham Palace, St. James Palace, Kensington Palace, Chequers, Wembley Stadium, Earls Court, The Ritz, The Dorchester, The Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Glastonbury Festival, and countless others. He has performed for Queen Elizabeth II (three times), Prince Charles, and numerous celebrities. He has been featured on prime-time TV and radio, including BBC1 TV’s “The One Show” where he won their “Poem Idol” feature, triumphing over Robert Mitchell and Elvis McGonagall, a former poetry slam world champion, and on BBC Radio 5live.
Internationally, the Spontaneous Poet has appeared at events, venues, and festivals in the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Barbados, Hong Kong, and Dubai, among other countries. Notable performances include The Peninsular in Hong Kong, Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai, The Auckland Sheraton in New Zealand, Holders Festival in Barbados, and South-By-South-West Festival in the USA.
