1920s Tap Sensations
The glittery gals are swingin' and shufflin', tappin' and flappin' through speakeasy street, aiming to showcase pure "sizzle"! Gin and Kristen Minsky are the latest sensation in the Cabaret scene!
The 1920s Tap Sensations have been capturing the hearts of audiences since they could barely walk. Raised backstage on the Vaudeville circuit by Eloise and William, also known as Ellie and Billy Minsky, the legendary stage mom and dad of New York's best burlesque house, the duo learned to dance to give their parents a breather between acts.
From the bible belt to Boston, Gin and Kristen honed their natural style and flair onstage, eventually settling around New York's Greenwich Village when Vaudeville was waning. Known for its jazz and nightlife, soft-shoe evolved into tap, sweet became sass, and the Sisters shortened their hemlines, rolled their stockings, and never looked back!
