Afro-Brazilian Drummers
This percussion orchestra from Bologna, Italy, features twenty musicians and is inspired by Afro-Brazilian music. They offer multiple forms of entertainment and various configurations of their percussion parade: ranging from a street parade with up to 25 performers filling the streets with irresistible rhythms, to a stage performance with fifteen musicians and a vocalist.
The group has delivered more than 200 concerts across Italy and Europe, performing at events such as the Venice Carnival, the Carnival of Cento, the Ambrosian in Milan, the grand Karnaval World Cultures in Berlin, the Samba Festival Repercussion of Monleon Magnoac, the Festival Trail Travel Acoustic-Music, and the International Festival Muntagninjazz. They have also participated in prestigious events like the Grand Prix of San Marino Formula 1 and the Bologna Motor Show.
Using traditional instruments such as the Afro-Brazilian surdo, repinique, caixa, tamborim, timbal, chocalho, and the needle-go, they are ideal for street festivals, conferences, theaters, clubs, and corporate events.
The variety and allure of their instruments, combined with meticulous arrangements and choreography, create a show that is intense, energetic, diverse, and captivating.
