Beat a Maxx started as an audio turntablist/scratch DJ, winning numerous DJ competitions and performing at various clubs and events across the country. His extensive DJ experience led him to work all over Europe, delivering a variety of sets within different music genres such as dance, house, RnB, and hip-hop.

In 2009, after many successful years as a DJ, Beat a Maxx added video to his sets and never looked back. He now blends the biggest tunes with clips from famous films and TV shows. Incorporating three live cameras, he creates an ingenious mix of audio, video, and live interaction that continues to captivate audiences nationwide.

Highlights of his career include performing on the main stage at Bestival and touring the USA and Europe. He has also been regularly featured on BBC Radio and TV, and his unique mixes have been A-listed on Kiss 100.
