Brian Moore - Sports Speaker

Brian Moore is a former England Rugby Player, who earned the reputation as "Pitball" due to his archetypal front-row rugby playing style and was known for winding up the opposition.

Born in Birmingham, Brian studied law at Nottingham University and subsequently became a qualified solicitor.

During his rugby career, Moore played for Harlequins, Nottingham, and Leeds and represented England 64 times - including three Rugby World Cups and the World Cup Final against Australia in Twickenham in 1991, and was part of the England team that won 3 Grand Slams (1991, 1992 and 1995). He completed two British Lions Tours, of Australia in 1989, Australia, and New Zealand in 1993.

Brian was voted Whitbread Rugby World Player of the Year 1990/91

Since retiring, Moore has been a regular media commentator and pundit, who is admired for his forthright views and style. He is a regular feature on TV and Radio as a rugby commentator for the BBC and Radio Five Live. Not known for mincing his words, Brian is an enthusiastic host and commentator as well as a leading After-Dinner Speaker and Motivational Speaker.
