A Consultant Respiratory Physician in Manchester, Dr. Kane has significantly contributed to reporting on the effects of long Covid.
She was also a significant contributor to the BBC's 70th Anniversary documentary on the Partition of India, 'My Family Partition and Me'.
Dr. Kane has advocated for a 'Partition Commemoration Day,' established 'The Partition Education Group,' and co-founded South Asian Heritage Month.
Dr. Kane is an active diversity advocate supporting various causes, including Black History Month and the Black Lives Matter campaigns.
