Egyptian Belly Dancer

Yasmina, often referred to as 'The English Rose of Cairo,' has over twenty-five years of experience in Egyptian oriental dance as a performer, teacher, and choreographer. Originally from the UK, she traveled extensively across the Middle East before making Cairo her home in 1995.

In Cairo, she performed with her orchestra for eight consecutive years, earning a reputation as one of the city's most beloved dancers. She appeared at major venues such as Meridien Heliopolis, Safir, Pyramisa, and the Semiramis Intercontinental hotels, the Nile Maxime, Tivoli Heliopolis, and at countless weddings and parties across Cairo and Egypt.

As a longtime student of Raqia Hassan and other Egyptian master teachers, Yasmina has spent the past decade teaching and performing at sold-out workshops and festivals worldwide, developing her unique style.

Yasmina is a founding member and star of 'The Farha Tour,' which brings live music and top oriental and folkloric dancers to international audiences. They have toured the UK twice and have performed in Australia, in addition to hosting regular 'Farha Festivals' focused on live music and teaching in the UK and Luxor.
