This act presents the vibrant folk music of Rajasthan, India. The band showcases a rich variety of music and dance, representing the distinctive styles of the two unique groups that inhabit Rajasthan’s desert lands: the Langas and Manganiyars.

Both Langas and Manganiyars are communities of Muslim musicians, yet many of their songs praise Hindu deities and celebrate Hindu festivals such as Diwali and Holi.
