Jazz Vocalist Ilse

Jazz singer Ilse is one of the most distinguished artists in the Netherlands and has gained recognition across Europe. Previously nominated for the prestigious Edison Award by jazz critics, she recently released her sixth album, 'Intimate Jazz Sessions'. The talented jazz vocalist has consistently produced excellent recordings throughout her career, mainly focusing on standards.

Ilse regularly performs across Europe, often with a group that includes her husband, pianist/arranger Erik Van Der Luijt. Appearances on radio and television have connected her with a diverse and broad audience, and she has toured in Spain, Turkey, Switzerland, France, and the United Kingdom. Winner of the Schiedam Jazz Award, she has represented the Netherlands at the international jazz festival in Vienne, France.
