Kenyan Acrobatic Troupe
The Kenyan Acrobatic Troupe consists of 4 to 5 exceptionally talented acrobats. This group of artists, who have grown, trained, and worked together in Kenya, have gained extensive exposure and experience from touring the world with various groups, enabling them to deliver their best performances to diverse international audiences.
Their lively show is highly engaging, designed for a broad audience with its simple yet captivating content, effortless communication, and spectacular acrobatic displays synchronized to the vibrant rhythms of African beats, radiating immense energy and joy.
The stunts are reflective of African tradition, featuring human pyramids, impressive jump rope routines, and playful fire acts.
Besides performing in 11 different countries, the group also conducts acrobatics art lessons at the "French School" Nairobi, has been featured in television programs in Italy and Spain, and has participated in circus theater. They have garnered accolades such as "Best Performing Group" as voted by the public at the "Strabilandia Street Festival 2010" in Bellizzi and the "Milan Clown Festival 2012."
The aim of the Kenyan Acrobatic Troupe is to promote Kenyan acrobatics, dance, music, and contemporary choreography, while also fostering the presentation and dissemination of African artists' work to a global audience.
