The situation goes from bad to worse when you and your team find out the doors are locked and you can’t leave. In order to escape you must retrace your steps and figure out what happened the night before, in only 60 minutes.

With a 4 out of 5 difficulty rating this Reykjavik escape room is guaranteed to get groups thinking hard. Rated 5 out of 5 for team building,and 4 out of 5 for attention to detail, this live action game is ideal for testing corporate groups. 

There is one ‘Hangover’ escape room, which requires a minimum group of four and a maximum group of 12 to complete. This time-based team building activity have a 35% escape rate…are your group up to the challenge?

2. Prison Break Overview:

A criminal mastermind has framed you for murder and you find yourself locked up in a maximum security prison, and sentenced to death. Pleading your innocence has not helped your cause, and the only way to avoid execution is escaping. 

It becomes apparent the guards take an hour to check inmates and do the rounds, leaving you 60 minutes of escape. This tense hour will test problem solving, resourcefulness, breaking codes and problem solving. Discovering clues and solving riddles will be imperative to success so fast thinking and logical processing is key.  

There are two ‘Prison Break’ rooms each one can have a maximum of six players and a minimum of two; allowing unto 12 people to play at one time. This Reykjavik escape room has a 38% escape rate, making it a slightly easier group experience than the prison break escape room.

       3. Taken Overview:

You and your group are transported back to your childhood, where you realise you’ve been kidnapped by a mysterious old lady  as you wake up in a creepy, dark children’s playroom. You are now trapped! Luckily a little girl who previously managed to escape left some clues for you to discover and help you escape. 

Through an array of puzzles, brain teasers and riddles that will test your attention to detail you and your group will try and discover who the mysterious woman is and why she kidnapped you. But be warned, not all of the challenges and puzzles will be what they seem, can you work them out within 60 minutes?

The team building activity has a 40% escapee rate and has a minimum of two players and maximum of six. There are two of these Reykjavik escape rooms, allowing 12 players to play head to head at once.

     4. The Scientist Overview:

A famous scientist has found a cure for cancer after dedicating his life to science. He has finally prefaced a formula using a rare form of mushroom. You are a member of staff of a pharmaceutical company and your bosses have ordered you and your colleagues to break in and steal the formula. 

As you break in you trigger a silent alarm, leaving you only 60 minutes to find the formula and escape. This Reykjavik escape room require a lot of attention to detail and teamwork, making is a brilliant team bonding experience, as communication, calmness and quick thinking is tested to the limit. 

This group experience has a escape success rate of 35%. With two rooms available that can host a minimum of two players and maximum of 12, you can challenge teams to race against each other, doubling the time pressure.
