This Melbourne-based performing arts company delivers a remarkable fusion of theatre, dance, and circus performance, featuring a unique elevated medium that sets their act literally above the rest. Inspired by the image of a field of wheat swaying in the breeze, the poles’ extreme strength and flexibility allow the performers to bend to seemingly impossible angles, swaying back and forth in a mesmerizing dance that leaves audiences in awe. Their world-renowned performances have achieved a near-cult status across almost every continent, making regular appearances at festivals, special events, and private functions.
