Rita Clifton CBE
Having started her career in advertising, Rita rapidly progressed to the position of Vice Chairman and Strategy Director at Saatchi & Saatchi during its most successful period. From here she progressed into brand strategy and moved into London CEO, then Chairman, of leading global brand consultancy Interbrand, leading a talented and diverse team. The skills she established in these roles have been invaluable and build the foundations of her keynote speeches. She has used these experiences to advise many leading, global businesses as well as new start-ups of all sizes and across many industries. Her status as a highly regarded business leader and brand guru has inspired many to adapt to the ever-changing corporate climate and find new ways to succeed.
She has been regularly featured on CNN, BBC, Sky and social channels for her insightful commentary and was a judge and mentor on the award-winning series Pop Up Start Up’, in association with Alibaba.
Rita is a non-executive director on a number of boards for businesses including ASOS, Nationwide Building Society and John Lewis Partnership, having previously been on boards for Bupa, Emap and Dixons Retail plc. She has a vast amount of experience in regard to non-profit organisations too, including as a member of the UK Government’s Sustainable Development Commission and a Trustee at Green Alliance.
