This Swing big band is a group of Scottish musicians, brought together by saxophonist Jon Ritchie, who perform live big band swing, jazz, and dance music for weddings, dinners, festivals, and corporate events across Scotland.
The band can provide ensembles ranging from 3 to 17 players, allowing them to adapt to most venues. They take pride in crafting a program that appeals to everyone, whether their preference is big band, swing, ballroom, jive, or Rock and Roll.
The band performs monthly at dances, weddings, festivals, and corporate events in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Ayr, Stirling, and throughout Scotland in various formations, from jazzy duets to trios, quartets, quintets, and up to a full 17-piece big band.
