Traditional African Dance Group
Book the traditional African dance group for a stunning cultural performance that showcases the rich traditions of Eastern Africa. Since 1994, this group has been dedicated to promoting Tanzanian cultural heritage and youth talents. This ensemble of African dancers and drummers offers vibrant and highly engaging entertainment that captivates audiences worldwide.
The traditional performance blends dancing, singing, and drumming, drawing from the traditions of over 120 local tribes. The group can perform more than 50 Tanzanian folk dances, featuring songs, routines, and drum beats from all tribes. The African drummers create a backdrop of high-energy live music with infectious rhythms and pounding beats, while the focus remains on the African dancers who, dressed in stunning costumes, perform visually captivating, storytelling choreographed dance routines.
Bringing the traditional performances of Eastern Africa to global audiences, the traditional African dance group also offers fantastic workshops for group activities. The African dancers and drummers will teach participants some of the traditional drumming and dance routines.
