Ukrainian Folk Dancers

This group is the longest-established traditional Ukrainian Folk Dance Ensemble in the United Kingdom. Based in Manchester, the ensemble represents Ukrainians in Great Britain and has been in existence for over 68 years. They deliver a unique blend of sound and movement, combining energetic dancing, spirited singing, and vibrant music that reflects the soul and heart of the Ukrainian people.

The ensemble showcases the charm and beauty of Ukrainian dances, accompanied by the enchanting rhythms and melodies of Ukrainian folk music. Wherever they perform, the dancers win not only prizes but also the hearts of audiences who watch their colorful, lively, and graceful dances.

Throughout its existence, the group has toured around the world and has been universally acclaimed. Among its many honors, they have performed before the Royal Family, Pope John Paul II, Presidents, Ambassadors, and many other civic dignitaries. The group also returned to its spiritual home, Ukraine, where they celebrated Ukraine's independence from the former Soviet Union.
