This group is the longest established traditional Ukrainian Folk Dance Ensemble in the United Kingdom. Based in Manchester, the ensemble represents Ukrainians in Great Britain and has been in existence for over 68 years. They offer a unique blend of sound and movements, combining energetic dancing, spirited singing, and vibrant music that reflects the soul and heart of the Ukrainian people.

The ensemble showcases the charm and beauty of Ukrainian dances, accompanied by the enchanting rhythms and melodies of Ukrainian folk music. The dancers, wherever they perform, have won not only prizes but also the hearts of the audience who witness their colorful, lively, and graceful dances.

Throughout its existence, the group has toured worldwide and received universal acclaim. Among its many honors, they have been invited to perform before the Royal Family, Pope John Paul II, Presidents, Ambassadors, and various civic dignitaries. The group also returned to its spiritual home—Ukraine—where they had the honor of celebrating Ukraine's independence from the former Soviet Union.

Our dancers and musicians have extensive national and international experience at concerts, festivals, theater, weddings, parties, corporate events, charity functions, and television shows—including ITV's 'Britain's Got Talent', C4's '8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown', and BBC's Strictly Come Dancing.
