This African percussion and dance troupe, based in Glasgow, has been captivating audiences for over 10 years. They perform and dance to the vibrant and varied rhythms and songs of traditional West African culture, primarily from the Mandigue heritage. The music features Djembe and Dundun drums, along with various other percussion instruments. They weave a mesmerizing tapestry of rhythms originally played during celebrations such as religious festivals, harvests, victories, as well as work and initiation ceremonies. The dance and music are deeply intertwined, forming a fundamental part of the culture and social fabric.
