A humble Merchant, guided by a Fairy, arrives at an abandoned palace searching for a rose for his modest daughter, Beauty. Unbeknownst to him, the palace is home to a fearsome and greedy Beast who discovers the Merchant and holds him captive for trespassing. The Fairy informs Beauty of her Father’s plight, and she travels to the palace to selflessly take his place.

Beauty and the Beast spend their days together, and while Beauty learns to love beyond appearances, the Beast learns kindness with the help of two magical candlesticks. When Beauty reveals she cannot be happy without seeing her Father again, the Beast risks his life to grant her deepest wish. Will the Beast survive to see Beauty content?
