A poor Merchant, guided by a Fairy, arrives at an abandoned palace in search of a rose for his humble daughter, Beauty. Little does he know the palace is the home of a terrifying and greedy Beast, who discovers the Merchant and holds him hostage for trespassing on his land. The Fairy tells Beauty of her Father’s fate, whom travels to the palace to selflessly take his place. 

Beauty and the Beast spend all their days together, and whilst Beauty learns to love despite appearances, the Beast learns to be kind, with the help of two magical candlesticks. But when Beauty reveals she can never be happy without seeing her Father again, the Beast risks his life to give Beauty what she most desires. Will the Beast live to see Beauty happy?
