A poor Merchant, guided by a Fairy, arrives at an abandoned palace in search of a rose for his humble daughter, Beauty. Little does he know the palace is home to a terrifying and greedy Beast, who discovers the Merchant and holds him captive for trespassing on his land. The Fairy tells Beauty of her Father's fate, prompting her to travel to the palace to selflessly take his place. 

Beauty and the Beast spend all their days together, and while Beauty learns to love despite appearances, the Beast learns to be kind, with the help of two magical candlesticks. But when Beauty reveals she can never be happy without seeing her Father again, the Beast risks his life to give Beauty what she most desires. Will the Beast live to see Beauty happy?
