Blues Singer and Pianist
Blues vocalist Christina is celebrated as the "blackest white voice in Switzerland." Her passion for music is evident as she seamlessly blends raw emotion with impressive power and charisma. Her soulful performances captivate audiences, making any gospel or blues night with her an unforgettable experience.
In her youth, Jaccard began training as an opera singer but chose to pursue her own unique voice. She explored various musical styles before finally embracing blues, soul, and gospel. Jaccard has found a perfect musical partner in pianist Dave. Renowned across Europe for his expertise in stride and boogie, he is also a true specialist in blues and swing. His subtle and sensitive accompaniments enhance Jaccard's singing, while he is also an outstanding soloist in his own right.
Christina's concert tours often extend beyond Swiss borders. She frequently performs in neighboring countries and has played in Canada, Australia, and the US. Despite her strong roots in soul, blues, and gospel, she excels in various musical genres. Between her solo and band performances, she embraces exciting collaborations and ventures into other musical fields. She was a guest star on the Swiss tour of the legendary Jackson Singers and joined Gigi Moto in a blues/punk rock soundclash. She collaborated with Michael von der Heide and Maja Brunner in "Divamix" and has also taken to the stage in numerous musicals. Jaccard resides in Zurich, where she works as a vocal coach.
