Comedian Curt

Originally hailing from the American South, Curt has spent 6 years living and working in China. A graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, he has experience as a TV host for the Fox TV network, a radio journalist, a theatrical actor, and a professional singer.

In 2009, Curt founded his own improv comedy group, which boasts a professional team of 10 actors who regularly perform shows in Shanghai to thousands of delighted audience members. The group can perform in English, Chinese, or French!

The main stage players now travel to cities such as Beijing and Hong Kong to participate in comedy festivals and host visiting comedy teams in Shanghai. In 2013, they organized the first annual Shanghai Comedy Festival, featuring acts from major Asian cities, as well as visiting US groups and professional comics.

Curt has performed for many renowned corporate clients in Shanghai, including Louis Vuitton, Bayer Pharmaceuticals, and Prudential Insurance. His style combines observational humor, storytelling, and improvisation. He also customizes his performances to suit each audience, ensuring maximum laughs!
