Comedian Curt

Originally from the American South, Curt has lived and worked in China for 6 years. A graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, he has worked as a TV host for the Fox TV network, a radio journalist, a theatrical actor, and a professional singer.

In 2009, he founded his own improv comedy group, which maintains a professional team of 10 actors who regularly perform shows in Shanghai to delighted audiences. They can perform in English, Chinese, or French!

The main stage players now travel to cities like Beijing and Hong Kong to perform at comedy festivals and host visiting comedy teams in Shanghai. In 2013, they hosted the first annual Shanghai Comedy Festival, featuring acts from major Asian cities and visiting US groups and professional comedians.

Curt himself has performed for many well-known corporate clients in Shanghai, such as Louis Vuitton, Bayer Pharmaceuticals, and Prudential Insurance. His style combines observational humor, storytelling, and improvisation. He also tailors his performances to suit each audience to ensure maximum laughs!
