Comedian Curt

Originally from the American South, Curt has lived and worked in China for 6 years. A graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi he has worked as a TV host for the Fox TV network, a radio journalist, a theatrical actor and professional singer.

In 2009 he founded his own improv comedy group, which maintains a professional performing team of 10 actors who perform regular shows in Shanghai to thousands of delighted audience members, and can perform in English, Chinese or French!

The main stage players now travel to cities such as Beijing and Hong Kong to perform in comedy festivals, and host visiting comedy teams in Shanghai as well. In 2013 they hosted the first annual Shanghai Comedy Festival, including acts from major Asian cities and visiting US groups and professional comics.

Curt himself has performed for many well-known corporate clients in Shanghai such as Louis Vuitton, Bayer Pharmaceuticals and Prudential Insurance. His style is a combination of observational humour, storytelling, and improvisation. He also likes to tailor his performances to suit each audience and ensure maximum laughs!
