What is required as a participant of a walking tour?
One of the benefits of a walking tour is that you don’t need to provide any equipment or a specific venue; simply get your group to a prearranged meeting point and let one of our multilingual tour guides to look after everything else. If you require transfers to the agreed meeting point, we can help book any travel requirements. Ensure your group are wearing appropriate clothing for the weather, and footwear ideal for roughly one to two hours of walking (depending on which tour you choose). Other than that, make sure you have a camera to capture the beautiful sights and your happy team as they meander through the city.
Does the tour include lunch?
Some of our walking tours will include stops for lunch, and if not, a stop can be arranged on request. Alternatively, we can organise a mobile caterer, whether you’d like some freshly packed lunches or a mobile food van, or a sit-down meal, just let our event team know.
Will the tour be cancelled if it’s raining? The majority of tours will go ahead in damp or wet weather; in severe weather, a tour may be cancelled if it’s unsafe to continue. Some tours may be able to be rescheduled for another date; booking and cancellation terms and conditions will be outlined upon booking.
Can we book a workshop or additional activity to go with the tour?
Absolutely! Some of our group walking tours can follow onto a corporate group workshop straight away, or we can organise a workshop for you, if you are looking for a full day of group activities, just let our events team know your requirements.
How long do corporate tours last?
This is very dependent on which group walking tour you opt to do, but the majority last a minimum of one hour and are either one-and-a-half, two hours or three hours. Some may last for up to five or six hours if they are an all-day tour, check each tour page for more detailed information! If you have a specific timetable to stick to we can find the most suitable tour for your schedule, just let us know your requirements.
Are the city sightseeing tours available in different languages?
Yes, most of our guided tours are lead by multilingual tour guides, check each tour page for more detailed information on what languages each tour is available in. If you will have team members who don’t speak the same language as the tour guide, let us know and we can assist in providing any translation equipment or translators.
Are the walking tours privately booked and only available for my group/employees?
Yes, although some guided walking tours may be available to members of the public normally, our corporate tours can be booked privately for your group, to ensure maximum relationship-building between colleagues.
