Crooner and Jazz singer Robert’s journey began as a jazz club owner, where he found the perfect platform to perform live for audiences. Forming bonds with local and touring musicians, he was encouraged to take his singing seriously, focusing on Sinatra's style and repertoire.

It was perhaps the passing of the legendary Frank Sinatra that ignited the birth of this crooner’s professional music career. However, even as a young man in his hometown of Winnipeg, Canada, people noted the uncanny similarities between Crooner Robert and Sinatra, both in looks and voice. Not a bad comparison, considering Robert’s love for Sinatra's music.

Like Sinatra, Rob was self-taught, but as a professional, he sought training from a renowned Canadian jazz vocalist and classical singer and pianist. He concentrated on the music he loved most and found that it was also the music he most enjoyed singing.

Robert has since performed across western Canada, in groups ranging from trios to 18-piece big bands. Career highlights include opening for Pink Martini at Calgary's Jack Singer Concert Hall, appearances at the Calgary and Saskatoon jazz festivals, live performances on City TV, and a special event for Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

Robert remains a popular choice for bookings at nightclubs and a host of corporate and private events. Since selling his bistro and jazz club in 2012, Rob is fully dedicated to his performing career and is available for a range of events, including corporate and private parties.
