Djamal

Located in the heart of Europe’s club paradise, Ibiza-born Djamal developed a unique passion for electronic music through early exposure to the island’s most legendary events and top artists.

Nearly a year before the dawn of the new millennium, Djamal dove into Ibiza’s hottest spots like Amnesia, Privilege, DC10, and Space. Seizing the moment, he expanded his music collection and headlined his debut gig at the lavish venue 'Bazaar' in Ibiza at just 15 years old.

Since then, Djamal has been an active DJ and music producer in the Psychedelic Trance scene under his alias ‘DJamal’. Concurrently, he mastered underground Tech House, Deep House, and Techno, leading him to start a new project in late 2014 under the fresh alias 'O-BE'.

This project aims to take the audience on a musical journey with underground deep and tech sounds, inducing an 'Out of Body Experience' and bringing listeners to a state of pure consciousness, fully present in the moment. O-BE’s music is best experienced by letting go of the mind and focusing entirely on the heart and soul.

Since moving to Amsterdam in the Netherlands, O-BE has become well-known in the electronic music scene, earning praise from dedicated audiences, seasoned producers, and fellow DJs. He has performed at various venues and events like Cafe Batavia, Akhnaton, Korsakoff, CUE Bar, Sugarfactory, Studio 80, Ruigoord, Club Up, Chicago Social Club, In The Clouds Festival 2014, Lief festival 2014, and HRFST Festival 2014, sharing the stage with notable names like Michel de Hey, Mathias Kaden, Einmusik, and many more.

With the Amsterdam-based SAE Institute being known for producing some of the world’s top music talents, Djamal has refined his skills in Audio Engineering and is currently working on several upcoming productions set to be released soon.

During the winter months of 2014/15, O-BE performed in Goa, India at major venues and highly acclaimed events like Soma Project, Katzensuppe, Chronicles, Techno Tales, Cafe Lilliput, Baxters, Secret Garden Beach Festival, and Hill Top, performing alongside prominent artists like Steve Rachmad and others.

Furthermore, O-BE is part of the ‘International Acts - Ibiza Sound Agency’ artist roster and is available for bookings.

For the upcoming summer season of 2015, O-BE will be back on Ibiza, performing at the island’s most popular venues and events.
