Futurist Speaker Simon

Simon is a pioneering technologist and futurist, a strategic thinker and speaker. He is Vice Chairman of the Conservative Technology Forum and Director of Aediles, an open market policy think tank. Formerly a UK Technology Ambassador, he often collaborated with The Foreign & Commonwealth Office and UK Trade Invest. His expertise spans technology, politics, social media, eCrime, information security, and eGovernment. He advises government, law enforcement agencies, businesses, and media on the development and application of new technology.

Simon is recognized as an expert on ‘disruptive innovation’ and extensively writes about Information Security and 'Big Data,' which is becoming a crucial management challenge for corporations, as multiple information sources integrate with advanced analytics tools, Cloud Computing models, and increasing processor speeds.

A former chief executive and Chairman of The Research Group, and Chair of the annual international eCrime Congress, Dr Simon Moore is widely recognized for his expertise in online espionage, hi-tech crime, and information security issues.

As Vice Chairman of the Conservative Technology Forum, Simon continues to work closely with Westminster on information society issues and is a member of the Information Communication Technology Policy Group, advising European Parliament members through the center-right European Peoples Party (EPP).
