Futurist Speaker Simon
Simon is a disruptive technologist and futurist, strategic thinker, and speaker. He is Vice Chairman of the Conservative Technology Forum and Director of the open market policy think tank, Aediles. Formerly a UK Technology Ambassador, he frequently assisted The Foreign & Commonwealth Office and UK Trade Invest. His expertise includes technology, politics, social media, eCrime, information security, and eGovernment. He advises government, law enforcement agencies, businesses, and media on the evolution, development, and application of new technology.
Simon is regarded as an expert on 'disruptive innovation,' and writes extensively on Information Security and the topic of 'Big Data,' which is becoming an increasingly important management challenge for corporations as expanding information sources converge with powerful analytics tools, Cloud Computing models, and accelerating processor speeds.

A former CEO and Chairman of The Research Group, and Chair of the annual international eCrime Congress, Dr. Simon Moore is widely recognized for his expertise in online espionage, high-tech crime, and information security.
As Vice Chairman of the Conservative Technology Forum, Simon continues to work closely with Westminster on information society issues. He is also a member of the Information Communication Technology Policy Group, advising members of the European Parliament through the center-right European Peoples Party (EPP).
