Multiple award-winner Dimitris has firmly established himself as one of the most talented guitarists of his generation. Highly sought-after as a soloist globally, Dimitris has been performing since he was nine.

Since graduating from the Royal Academy of Music in London in 2007, he has given recitals and toured extensively in the UK, USA, Germany, United Arab Emirates, China, Spain, Italy, Romania, Greece, Egypt, Portugal, Japan, Mexico, Chile, and many other countries. He has been invited as a soloist and has conducted master-classes in numerous international music festivals such as the Abu Dhabi International Music and Arts Festival, North Wales International Music Festival, Ripon International Music Festival, London International Guitar Festival, and many others.

Dimitris has performed as a soloist with the Staatsorchester Rheinische Philharmonie in Germany, the Romanian Philharmonia, and some of the UK's major orchestras. He has hosted solo recitals in many prestigious concert halls such as the Wigmore Hall, Wales Millennium Centre, and Southbank Centre. Most recently, Dimitris gave a private recital at Lambeth Palace for Pope Benedict XVI and the Archbishop of Canterbury.

Many composers have dedicated compositions to Dimitris, including Nikita Koshkin (Sonata II), Julian Jacobson (FanTango), Hayley Savage (The Cell) and others.

He released his debut recording, 'Music for Oboe and Guitar,' in 2009 with oboist Marios Argiros (formerly Principal Oboe, BBC Philharmonic) and has since recorded a number of pieces for the popular Guitar CD ‘Simply Spanish Moods’. In 2012, he released his third solo guitar recording, ‘Premiere,’ which includes two world premieres.

Dimitris was born in Athens and started learning the guitar at the age of five. He won the IKY National Competition Scholarship, the Royal Academy of Music’s scholarship, and the Tebutt Exhibition Award, which enabled him to study at the Royal Academy of Music under Micheal Lewin, David Russell, Timothy Walker, John Mills, and John Williams. While there, he won the Tebutt Exhibition Scholarship and, in 2007, received his Diploma of Postgraduate Performance (Distinction) and was awarded the Blyth Watson Award at his graduation. In 2008, he was named Making Music's Recommended Artist after winning the Philip and Dorothy Music Award, and he also collaborated with Yehudi Menuhin's Live Music Now, delivering workshops and outreach programs throughout the UK. He also won the prestigious Ivor Mairants Guitar Award from the Worshipful Company of Musicians, who later granted him the honorable Freedom of the City of London.

He has participated in numerous international festivals and competitions and has won more than 13 international and national prizes.
